ATAP will build 16,300 * homes on 350 hectares that encompass the towns of Suizo, Maliwalo, Balete and Cut Cut,
Tarlac. Tarlac is a landlocked province, bordered by Pampanga to the south, Nueva Ecija to the east, Pangasinan to the
north, and Zambales to the west, in central Luzon about 60 miles from Manila.
The agricultural industry is the focus of their economy with Rice, Sugarcane, Corn, Coconut, Mango, Banana, and Calamansi
as their principal crops. Tarlac also has an abundant supply of clay, making ceramics a profitable source of income.
Among the prominent citizens of Tarlac are the former President Corazon Aquino and her martyred husband Benigno Aquino Jr.
and General Carlos P. Romulo, who served as ambassador to the United Nations.
